Arabia
Gaz
was founded on 24th of June 2003 under the Egyptian Guarantee and
Incentive of Investments Law number 8/97, to design, build, operate and
maintain Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) refueling and conversion stations
in Egypt.
The shareholders are CTIP
Oil & Gas of Italy (40%) and private Egyptian investors (60%).
Arabia Gaz
belongs to an industrial group, operating in different fields of Oil &
Gas market, mostly in the Mediterranean and Middle East areas.
The other companies of the group
are CTIP Oil & Gas of Italy (Engineering & Contracting), National Gas S.A.E.
of Egypt (distribution of natural gas to domestic, commercial and industrial
clients), RM Technologies (natural gas projects for applications in the
industrial and commercial sectors in Egypt and Middle East), FORCO
Technologies (development and implementation of technology and process in
Oil & Gas industry).
Arabia Gaz avails of the
group resources, experience and know how for developing its activities.
Arabia Gaz
has ambitions to be a leader in the market of CNG for vehicles in Egypt,
by developing a network of stations all over the territory and aiming at
levels of excellence in quality of service, customer satisfaction and
compliance with the best international standards for its management
systems.
As of September 2004, the
first Conversion Center and the first Refuelling Station are in
operation in Nasr City, Cairo, and the projects of more stations are in
progress in Cairo area.
